It is a very comfortable and pleasant place for any event, its food is delicious and its service at the tables is very attentive. The house DJ knows very well how to create the atmosphere and keeps people dancing and having a good time. I recommend this place 100%

Paracel Seafood Restaurant is a wonderful place to hold a wedding. Our wedding reception was amazing. Everything went smoothly. From the MC/DJ, Food, Service, Decorations it was done perfectly. We wanna give a huge shoutout to Matt, Tom, and all the workers for making our wedding reception a day to remember. Definitely the best venue to have a wedding in Los Angeles and Orange County.

I chose this place because my brother got married here couple years ago! The owner & family here are super nice!! The restaurant is beautifully decorated & has a pretty entrance area for you to take your bride&groom guests photos!! The restaurant is super spacious and has great lighting decor too!! For the food, everything was really good!! I highly suggest upgrading the lobster noodle dish!! You won't be disappointed!!!! I wish I could give Matthew more than 5 stars! He literally made the whole wedding super Littttt! Lol! My husband was super happy with how Matthew handled the timeline & playlist! My husband wanted to continue to party more with Matthew when the wedding was over but I was like babe, he needs to close up the restaurant!! That how much my hubby loved Matthew!! Matthew also speaks Perfect Vietnamese so that came in super clutch with our older aunties, uncles, grandma, & grandpas!! I'm also super grateful Matthew was super understanding & professional from A-Z!! Will recommend all my friends and family to do their wedding here & hire Matthew for their DJ/MC!

Our wedding reception back in May of this year at Paracel Restaurant was amazing! The food was delicious and a big hit with our Vietnamese AND non-Vietnamese guests so that says a lot. Matthew, the catering manager, was super responsive and accommodated our requests whenever he could, which made planning less stressful considering that we live out of state. Matthew and the Paracel team were just great to work with overall. Everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding, and our family & friends have been telling us how much they enjoyed our reception and how fun it was. The decor and lighting really elevated the venue and the venue was more than large enough for our 140-guest reception. Had the wedding reception of my dreams at Paracel!! HUGE shoutout to Matthew for hearing our vision of creating a rave for our friends and family and bringing that to life!!! Paracel seafood restaurant is such an amazing reception if you're a bride looking for your guests to leave FULL and to have a great time! Paracel offers an 8-course fixed menu, and has a large dance floor with curtains that light up. There's an option to hire Matthew, the restaurant owner's son, as your DJ/MC and believe me- if you are going with this restaurant, HIRE HIM!!!! He is such a fun MC who can also speak Vietnamese! He truly brought the party and all my guests loved his energy! We also told Matthew we wanted a mix of pop and EDM and he was able to play the tracks we had asked for! The DJ package also includes cold sparklers and fog machine! The sparkler and fog machine made our dance look so much more magical. There's also a spotlight that Matthew can turn on and that also adds to the first dance. Matthew is a wizard and he knows exactly when to use the fog machine, sparklers and spotlight for the best effect. People told me the first dance looked absolutely magical with everything combined! Paracel also offers upgrades if you want to make your dance floor white instead of the typical brown. I honestly don't know why people would choose any other reception venue other than paracel. I truly believe paracel is the best among the Asian reception venues we toured as it has so much more. Food review: 8 course meal, overall was good! Menu included typical Vietnamese staples such as Bo luc lac, Peking duck, crab soup, etc. Open bar had a wide selection, and they allow you to get shots. The shots are not watered down. Overall I would recommend this venue to anyone. Good value, fun reception site, amazing DJ/MC (who also doubles up as a bartender and coordinator). You will be thankful to have booked with them. A lot of my guests the next day texted me saying this was one of their top favorite, most fun weddings they've ever been to. Matthew, if you're reading this. It's because of you and the party you created for us. Thank you!!!

We had our new year's Eve wedding here and loved it. We had about 125 guests so the venue was perfect. Spacious enough for our guests but not overwhelmingly grand that our hermit crabs felt lost in space. The foods were delicious and the drinks were strong. Our guests loved it and we all love the taro dessert that Mathew's mom made. Mathew was our dj, MC and light/tech guy- and omg, he was such an MC and DJ. Great music selections-even had Cambodian music for our parents' grand entrance and some party music. As an MC, Matt was mc'ing it. Totally did not know what to expect but the bar is set high now. We LOVE that he was dressed in our colors and his staff also respected our request of no black top/jacket/shirt. He was easy to reach and very friendly to work with- answered all our questions and provided some good suggestions too. The parents were also very nice. It was a pleasure working with them. Thank you for everything :)

My friend held her wedding reception here. Everything from the food, bar, service, and environment was WONDERFUL. All of the Asian dishes were tasty and satisfying. The servers were so professional, polite, and efficient. They were on top of clearing plates and drinks to avoid table clutter. Despite the chaos of having an open bar, the bartenders provided pleasant and quick service as well. If I'm remembering correctly, the MC was the son of the restaurant owners. He was SUPER engaging and energizing. If I ever got married, I wouldn't mind having my own wedding reception here!

We finally had our wedding here September 8th and it was magical. We had our ceremony here and then our reception. Bác Thương and Matthew and the whole family were absolutely remarkable. Matthew was a great DJ and people were dancing all night. And the food... everyone went nuts over the food. We had maybe 1/4 Vietnamese guests 3/4 American guests and everyone loved the food. They even were able to accommodate my vegans! I wish I could relive this day again and again.

If I could give 100 stars, I would. If you're looking for a wedding venue, this is the one. It's a family owned business with Matthew, his dad and mom. I first spoke with Matthew's dad on the phone and he couldn't stop talking about Matthew. To throw a great party, which I did, you have to have 4 things: Fun people, great food, alcohol and awesome music. 1) Fun people- hopefully you're inviting people you vibe with bc that's what we did 2) Great food- you get a complimentary food tasting and I brought my picky Asian relatives. Surprisingly they all rated the food 95% so I knew the food was up there. Also shoutout to Matthew's mom for making all the delicious food for the 9 course meal 3) Alcohol- you're able to bring your own alcohol if you don't want to order their open bar. We took advantage and ordered the open bar and even extended it at the end. Open bar comes with their bartenders. Can't have drunk people pouring their own shots haha 4) Awesome music- This was definitely what sold me. When I met Matthew, he said "I could play you a set" and right then and there, I knew he was "the one". He knew exactly what we wanted and at night he turned our wedding into a club/rave. It was so lit that our guests are still talking about how amazing it was. He knows how to read the crowd and he's also the MC. He is the ultimate package. I didn't focus a lot on my decor or flowers because I knew people would forget it. Matthew also referred my florist, which then referred me to my hair and makeup artist and cake bakery. I just love how they've worked at Paracel before so it made everything stress free for me. I'm from LA, so coming to the OC is a trek. In the end, this wedding was worth every single dollar! If you want a boring wedding, book somewhere else :)
